Join your PHA (Vic & Tas) colleagues at an exclusive masterclass with acclaimed journalist and author, Gideon Haigh.

This masterclass aims to inspire and enliven history writing through the consideration of excellent writers and discussion of methods to make people, places and events leap off the page. There will be interactive sessions about approaches and techniques for writing history creatively.

If you are an early bird registrant, Gideon will also appraise a short written example of each masterclass attendee’s work of up to 1,000 words, to be submitted by 19 April to the PHA (Vic & Tas) Events Committee.

Participants should bring their preferred writing tools and have a task in mind they'd like to work on.

This is a PHA (Vic & Tas) members only event and is worth 20 PD points.

Cost: $250 (this includes your lunch).

Location: Kathleen Syme Library and Community Centre, Multipurpose Room 1.

Please note there is financial assistance to this event for members through the Bursary Support Program.
